Rolling down the highway,
On the wrong end of the night,
Memories fill the shadows,
Of my love who’s not in sight.
Pausing on this flight,
To wonder why I run,
From the one who’d never hurt me,
After all is said and done.
Sun peeks on the horizon,
Over this corner of the world,
Letting my heart see clearly,
What the darkness only sheilds.
