Steven Tyler, the lead singer for one of my favorite bands, Aerosmith has been injured when he fell from the stage while performing. He was singing and dancing to the song “Love in an Elevator” and he must have gotten carried away, and he just fell right off the stage.

The world has lost a legend today… Michael Jackson was pronounced dead earlier today after being found unconscious and unresponsive at his home. Paramedics tried to revive him with CPR after finding no pulse, but they couldn’t get a pulse back.
He was transported to UCLA Medical Center where they worked on him again to try to regain his heartbeat and a pulse, but they never could revive him or get a pulse.

The big news today is that Chastity Bono has decided to become a man, and have the transgender surgery to make the transformation complete.
“He” also wants to be called “Chaz” from now on, and not be referred to as a female any longer.
Now, I know that Chastity has done wonderful things for gay rights, and when she came out it was shocking, but later became more accepted. The wonderful things she has done in speaking out for gay rights and trying to get laws passed is nothing short of amazing.

UPDATE: Kris Allen was voted the American Idol.
After weeks of singing and songs and voting, it will all come down to Tuesday Night’s finale for American Idol. The two remaining singers are Kris Allen and Adam Lambert, pictured to the left.
These are the two finalists in the 8th season of American Idol. Now, this is just my opinion, and I am entitled to my opinion, so if you don’t like it, don’t read it. I already got bashed for a previous post I did, and I feel that if you have that strong of an opinion yourself, you should write about it on your own blog!

We are down to the final three on American Idol!
And it happens to be all boys!!
After Allison was eliminated last week, it comes down to tonight, and the final 3 boys, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I think this will be an exciting finale with the three of them in the top, and then being narrowed down to two. I have to let you know that I watch this religiously every Tuesday and Wednesday night, (or at least I DVR it so I don’t miss it) and Tuesday’s show was my favorite…by far!! They did a take-off of the Rat Pack standards, or crooner songs…ones with emotions and feelings that can draw the audience in and hold it there!
The top 5 contestants did a fine job with these ballads. And with Jamie Foxx as their Mentor, they excelled!!
