We have all seen this image before, taken by NASA, and referred to as the “Eye of God”. What do you believe about it? Do you think it was a fluke, or a doctored image? Do you want to believe that this is a sign that He really is watching over us?
The new testament has many instances of signs, and they are there if you have an open mind and if you look for them, and if you believe.
There are many people out there who do not believe, and that is their choice. You can not force someone to believe in something that they don’t, just as you can not force someone to eat broccoli if they don’t want to. But…
Do those people just have a closed mind? Have they maybe had a bad spiritual experience? Or are they maybe just lost? Maybe they don’t believe that salvation is an attainable outcome to their lives? Maybe they don’t feel that they are worth saving? Or perhaps they feel that their sins will not be forgiven and therefore, continue on the path that they are on? Whatever the reason, everyone needs to know that God is forgiving, and if you believe and ask for salvation, it will be given to you. We are all worthy. We are all worth saving.
It doesn’t matter if you go to a Christian Church and pray with others, or if you pray at home, He will hear you and listen. Many people love the idea of being around others who feel the same way, and the church setting provides that. Others prefer to honor Him in their own way, in their homes for example, and one way is not any better than the other, for when you believe, it is that belief that is the most important thing. Not where you go.
As long as you have hope and love in your heart, you will be alright.
