Big news for last night’s Grammy Awards…two of it’s performers, Rihanna and Chris Brown were no-shows…cancelling their performances at the last minute, after being at a Pre-Grammy party thrown by Clive Davis!
Then we hear the reason is…..ready…Chris Brown is being sought out for assault charges!! He finally turned himself in, and was arrested and released after posting $50,000.00 bail. The reason he had to turn himself in was because he had left the scene of the crime, and police were looking for him.
Now there are lots of rumors flying around about what he was or wasn’t charged with, Domestic Violence, Domestic violence felony battery, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Supposedly, according to the female victim (whom the police will not identify) she and Chris Brown were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles when, following an argument which turned violent, the female was injured and placed a 911 call to police, naming Brown as her attacker. When police arrived, Chris Brown had fled the scene.
Again, supposedly, Rihanna has bruises on her face, and was taken to the hospital, where leaks came out that she was there. Apparently Brown has no injuries.
Another rumor that is going around is that both Rihanna and Chris Brown were in a car accident, and that is how she was injured?? Who knows??
Needless to say, Wrigley has suspended it’s ad campaigns featuring Chris Brown, who is a spokeman for their Doublemint gum. You know those commercials where he dances around and kicks a pack of neon lit gum?? Well, you won’t be seeing them. Wrigley is not saying that they will drop him, but they are very concerned about the “serious allegations” against him. So for now, they are suspending the ads until the situation is resolved…
Boy…we sure have gossip, huh?

I know!! But where the story was just “Breaking” I had to mention it!! I’m sure all the true details will be revealed soon enough!!!
Fact is though….he did get arrested….so he is BAAADDD! lol

I have been following this story and it looks like it was really Rihanna at the receiving end of the physical abuse. This is so sad but let’s face it, it can happen to anyone from all walks of life. No matter how ugly an argument gets, hitting the woman (or anyone for that matter) is never justified.

I just dont get that in this day and age someone who is seen as a role model is putting out the message its ok and marrying him is just nuts!!
